March 17, 2025: Charleston, SC 29492 The Philip Simmons Iron Horses held off the visiting Beaufort Eagles lacrosse team by a tally of 10-9 in Monday's league match.
Next up, the Iron Horses confront the James Island Trojans (Charleston, SC) in a non-league match, on Thursday, March 20. Philip Simmons will attempt to improve on its 3-2 season record. The Trojans come into the match with a 6-2 record after their 12-0 league loss to Wando (Mt. Pleasant, SC).
The Eagles (3-5) will now prepare for their match against Bishop England (Charleston, SC). The Battling Bishops go into the 4A-1A Lower contest with a 2-5 record. In their last contest, Bishop England was nipped by Porter-Gaud (Charleston, SC), 9-5, in a non-league contest.
