Ouachita Parish Lions (Monroe, LA) supporters left the game pleased Monday as they saw their softball squad nudge the host Franklin Parish Patriots (Winnsboro, LA), 8-6 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Ouachita Parish improves its record to 12-5 on the year. The Lions travel to West Monroe (West Monroe, LA) to play the Rebels in a 5A District 2 game on Tuesday, March 18.
