In Tuesday's league test, the Ouachita Parish Lions (Monroe, LA) softball squad overwhelmed the host Neville Tigers (Monroe, LA), by a tally of 13-1.

Next, the Lions clash with the Alexandria Trojans (Alexandria, LA) in a 5A District 2 test, on Thursday, March 13. Ouachita Parish will attempt to advance on its 9-4 season record. The Trojans go into the test with a 11-3 record after their 15-14 league win over Ruston (Ruston, LA).

The Tigers (2-8) will now prepare for their test against West Monroe (West Monroe, LA). The Rebels go into the 5A District 2 test with a 6-7 record. In their last test, West Monroe was routed by Pineville (Pineville, LA), 8-0, in a league test.
