Louisiana High School Softball - Ruston sneaks past Ouachita Parish

In Tuesday's league match, the host Ruston Bearcats softball team scored a tight 8-7 win over the Ouachita Parish Lions.

The Bearcats (10-14) will now prepare for their match against West Monroe (West Monroe, LA). The Rebels come into the 5A District 2 match with a 13-15 record. In their last match, West Monroe nipped Alexandria (Alexandria, LA), 8-7, in a league match.

In their next game, the Lions battle the Pineville Rebels (Pineville, LA) in a 5A District 2 match, on Thursday, April 10. Ouachita Parish will attempt to better on its 15-14 season record. The Rebels come into the match with a 27-4 record after their 2-1 league win over Neville (Monroe, LA).
