Louisiana High School Softball - St. John bounces White Castle
March 17, 2025: Plaquemine, LA 70764 The crowd at Monday's league bout between the St. John Eagles (Plaquemine, LA) and the visiting White Castle Bulldogs (White Castle, LA), observed St. John's softball team notch a victory over White Castle by a final score of 20-0.
The Eagles (13-2) will now prepare for their bout against Mamou (Mamou, LA). The Demons go into the non-league bout with a 4-8 record. In their last bout, Mamou was routed by Fairview (Grant, LA), 8-6, in a non-league bout.
In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Ascension Christian (Gonzales, LA) in a 1A District 8 bout, on Tuesday, March 18. White Castle will attempt to better on its 2-4 season record. The go into the bout with a 7-4 record after their 15-13 non-league loss to South Terrebonne (Bourg, LA).
