The Foothill Falcons baseball team scored 5 runs and held the host Mica Mountain Thunderbolts to 2 in the Falcons non-league win on Tuesday.

The Falcons now hold a 10-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Catalina Foothills for a non-league test on Tuesday, March 17. Foothill will play a Falcons team coming off a 5-4 non-league win over Mica Mountain (Tucson, AZ). The Falcons record now stands at 7-3.

With the defeat, Mica Mountain drops to 4-6 on the season. The Thunderbolts host Ironwood Ridge (Tucson, AZ) to battle the Nighthawks in a 4A Kino outing on Tuesday, March 24. The Nighthawks go into the test with a record of 8-4. Ironwood Ridge won 1-0 in their recent non-league test against Skyline (Mesa, AZ)
