Texas High School Baseball - HCYA defeats Logos Prep Academy

March 17, 2026: Houston, TX

The HCYA baseball team scored 9 runs and held the visiting Logos Prep Academy Lions to 4 in the non-league win on Tuesday.

The now hold a 12-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Calhoun for a non-league test on Friday, March 20. HCYA will battle a Sandcrabs squad coming off a 6-3 non-league win over St. Joseph (Victoria, TX). The Sandcrabs record now stands at 8-7.

The Lions (3-5) will now prepare for their outing against Emery/Weiner (Houston, TX). The come into the TAPPS Division II District 4 outing with a 8-10 record. In their last outing, Emery/Weiner was overwhelmed by Kelly Catholic (Beaumont, TX), 5-0, in a non-league outing.
