In Tuesday's league bout, the Midway Panthers (Waco, TX) baseball squad overwhelmed the visiting Shoemaker Wolves (Killeen, TX), by a tally of 16-0.

Next up, the Panthers encounter the Temple Wildcats (Temple, TX) in a 6A Region II District 12 challenge, on Friday, March 20. Midway will attempt to better on its 9-7 season record. The Wildcats go into the challenge with a 5-15 record after their 15-4 non-league loss to Robinson (Robinson, TX).

With the defeat, Shoemaker drops to 2-11 on the year. The Wolves travel to Killeen (Killeen, TX) to encounter the Kangaroos in a 6A Region II District 12 bout on Friday, March 20.
