The Mansfield Wolverines softball team scored 11 runs and held the host Red River Bulldogs to 10 in the Wolverines league win on Tuesday.

The Wolverines now sport a 3-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Southwood for a non-league battle on Wednesday, March 18. Mansfield will confront a Cowboys team coming off a 16-1 league loss to North DeSoto (Stonewall, LA). The Cowboys record now stands at 1-5.

With the loss, Red River moves to 4-6 on the season. The Bulldogs host Plain Dealing (Plain Dealing, LA) to confront the Lions in a non-league battle on Monday, March 23.
