March 18, 2021: Elizabeth, LA 70638 Elizabeth Bulldogs (Elizabeth, LA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Anacoco Indians (Anacoco, LA), 11-8 in a non-league challenge.
The Bulldogs now own a 7-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Singer for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 23. Elizabeth will battle a Hornets squad coming off a 24-2 non-league loss to Fairview (Grant, LA). The Hornets record now stands at 0-8.
With the loss, Anacoco falls to 3-6 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Oak Hill (Hineston, LA) to battle the Rams in a non-league challenge on Monday, March 22. The Rams enter the challenge with a record of 4-5.
