Ashley Screaming Eagle (Wilmington, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting West Brunswick Trojans (Shallotte, NC), 6-0 in a league test.

With the win, Ashley upgrades its record to 3-3 on the season. The Screaming Eagle host Topsail (Hampstead, NC) to battle the Pirates in a Mideastern 3A/4A test on Tuesday, March 22. The Pirates come into the test with a record of 2-2. Topsail lost 15-2 in their recent league test against Hoggard (Wilmington, NC)

With the defeat, West Brunswick falls to 1-3 on the season. The Trojans host Laney (Wilmington, NC) to battle the Buccaneers in a Mideastern 3A/4A test on Tuesday, March 22. The Buccaneers come into the test with a record of 3-3. Laney lost 7-2 in their recent league test against South Brunswick (Southport, NC)
