Virginia High School Lacrosse - Jefferson Forest drops to Western Albemarle
March 18, 2022: Forest, VA 24551 Western Albemarle Warriors (Crozet, VA) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the host Jefferson Forest Cavaliers (Forest, VA), 18-6 in a non-league test.
The Warriors now have a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Freeman for a non-league test on Friday, March 25. Western Albemarle will face a Mavericks squad coming off a 15-5 league win over Deep Run (Glen Allen, VA). The Mavericks record now stands at 2-0.
In their next game, the Cavaliers face the Glass Hilltoppers (Lynchburg, VA) in a Seminole test, on Tuesday, March 22. Jefferson Forest will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Hilltoppers come into the test with a 1-2 record after their 14-7 non-league loss to Covenant (Charlottesville, VA).
