New Mexico High School Softball - Cleveland bounces La Cueva
March 18, 2022: Rio Rancho, NM 87144 Cleveland Storm (Rio Rancho, NM) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting La Cueva Bears (Albuquerque, NM), 10-3 in a non-league challenge.
The Storm now sport a 10-2 record. They take the field next when they host Rio Rancho for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 19. Cleveland will face a Rams squad coming off a 6-5 non-league win over Volcano Vista (Albuquerque, NM). The Rams record now stands at 5-5.
With the loss, La Cueva falls to 3-3 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Volcano Vista (Albuquerque, NM) to face the Hawks in a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 19. The Hawks enter the challenge with a record of 9-1. Volcano Vista lost 6-5 in their recent non-league challenge against Rio Rancho (Rio Rancho, NM)
