The La Cueva Bears routed the visiting Rio Rancho Rams softball squad by a final score of 13-0 in Tuesday's non-league battle.

The Bears (14-6) will now prepare for their battle against Farmington (Farmington, NM). The Scorpions go into the 5A District 2 battle with a 17-5 record. In their last battle, Farmington topped Eldorado (Albuquerque, NM), 13-1, in a league battle.

The Rams now possess a 14-7 record. They play next when they host Volcano Vista for a 5A District 1 battle on Wednesday, April 20. Rio Rancho will meet a Hawks squad coming off a 10-2 league win over Atrisco Heritage Academy (Albuquerque, NM). The Hawks record now stands at 15-5.
