New Mexico High School Softball - Rio Rancho bounces Los Lunas
March 3, 2022: Rio Rancho, NM 87124 Rio Rancho Rams (Rio Rancho, NM) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Los Lunas Tigers (Los Lunas, NM), 13-2 in a non-league challenge.
The Rams now sport a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Robertson for a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 24.
With the loss, Los Lunas falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Tigers host Sandia (Albuquerque, NM) to face the Matadors in a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 5. The Matadors enter the challenge with a record of 0-1. Sandia lost 6-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Atrisco Heritage Academy (Albuquerque, NM)
