March 18, 2022: Jacksonville, TX 75766 Spectators at Friday's league battle between the Lufkin Panthers (Lufkin, TX) and the host Jacksonville Fightin' Indians (Jacksonville, TX), witnessed Lufkin's softball squad overcome Jacksonville by a final score of 19-4.
The Panthers (11-5) will now prepare for their battle against Huntsville (Huntsville, TX). The Hornets go into the 5A Region II District 16 battle with a 13-10 record. In their last battle, Huntsville notched a victory over Tyler (Tyler, TX), 22-0, in a league battle.
