North Carolina High School Softball - South Iredell loses to Mooresville
March 18, 2022: Statesville, NC 28677 The Mooresville Blue Devils softball team scored 18 runs and limited the host South Iredell Vikings to 1 in the Blue Devils league triumph on Friday.
With the triumph, Mooresville moves its record to 6-1 on the year. The Blue Devils host Alexander Central (Taylorsville, NC) to clash with the Cougars in a non-league game on Monday, March 21. The Cougars come into the game with a record of 8-0. Alexander Central won 6-4 in their recent non-league game against East Rowan (Salisbury, NC)
In their next game, the Vikings clash with the A.L. Brown Wonders (Kannapolis, NC) in a Greater Metro 4A game, on Tuesday, March 22. South Iredell will attempt to move on its 3-5 season record. The Wonders come into the game with a 6-2 record after their 3-0 league loss to West Cabarrus (Concord, NC).
