Alabama High School Softball - White Plains gets by Handley
March 18, 2023: Roanoke, AL 36274 Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the White Plains Wildcats (Anniston, AL) and the host Handley Tigers (Roanoke, AL), witnessed White Plains's softball squad tip Handley by a count of 1-0.
The Wildcats now sport a 8-5 record. They play next when they travel to Piedmont for a non-league match on Saturday, March 18. White Plains will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 8-0 league win over Weaver (Weaver, AL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-1.
With the loss, Handley moves to 1-5 on the season. The Tigers travel to Brewbaker Tech (Montgomery, AL) to face the Rams in a non-league match on Monday, March 11. The Rams go into the match with a record of 23-3.
