March 18, 2024: Greeneville, TN 37745 David Crockett Pioneers (Jonesborough, TN) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Greeneville Greene Devils (Greeneville, TN), 10-6 in a non-league test.
With the win, David Crockett upgrades its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Pioneers travel to Daniel Boone (Gray, TN) to play the Trailblazers in a non-league contest on Thursday, March 21. The Trailblazers enter the contest with a record of 2-1. Daniel Boone lost 7-5 in their recent league contest against Science Hill (Johnson City, TN)
The Greene Devils now sport a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hardin Valley Academy for a non-league contest on Friday, March 22. Greeneville will play a Hawks squad coming off a 11-1 league win over Maryville (Maryville, TN). The Hawks record now stands at 4-1.
