In Monday's non-league challenge, the Vanguard Knights (Ocala, FL) baseball squad triumphed over the host Matanzas Pirates (Palm Coast, FL), by a final score of 9-2.

With the win, Vanguard upgrades its record to 6-4 on the season. The Knights travel to Williston (Williston, FL) to battle the Red Devils in a non-league test on Thursday, March 21. The Red Devils come into the test with a record of 5-5. Williston lost 10-8 in their recent non-league test against Chiefland (Chiefland, FL)

With the defeat, Matanzas falls to 6-7 on the season. The Pirates host Menendez (St. Augustine, FL) to battle the Falcons in a non-league test on Tuesday, March 26. The Falcons come into the test with a record of 5-6.
