The crowd at Tuesday's league battle between the Bandys Trojans (Catawba, NC) and the host Newton-Conover Red Devils (Newton, NC), saw Bandys's baseball team gain a win over Newton-Conover by a tally of 4-2.

The Trojans (2-5) will now prepare for their battle against South Iredell (Statesville, NC). The Vikings enter the non-league battle with a 6-2 record. In their last battle, South Iredell held off West Iredell (Statesville, NC), 10-4, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Red Devils face the Bunker Hill Bears (Claremont, NC) in a Catawba Valley Athletic 2A battle, on Friday, March 21. Newton-Conover will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The Bears enter the battle with a 5-5 record after their 8-3 league loss to Maiden (Maiden, NC).
