March 18, 2025: Huntsville, AL 35811 The Madison County Tigers (Gurley, AL) baseball trounced the host Lee Generals (Huntsville, AL), 11-1 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.
The Tigers now own a 10-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Austin for a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 20. Madison County will clash with a Black Bears team coming off a 8-5 non-league loss to Sparkman (Harvest, AL). The Black Bears record now stands at 7-12.
With the defeat, Lee drops to 3-7 on the year. The Generals host Columbia (Huntsville, AL) to clash with the Eagles in a 6A Area 16 challenge on Thursday, March 20. The Eagles go into the challenge with a record of 2-9. Columbia lost 15-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Clements (Athens, AL)
