March 18, 2025: Altoona, PA 16602 Carlisle Thundering Herd (Carlisle, PA) followers left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Altoona Mountain Lions (Altoona, PA), 3-1 in a league test.
With the win, Carlisle advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Thundering Herd host Chambersburg (Chambersburg, PA) to face the Trojans in a Mid-Penn test on Thursday, March 20. The Trojans go into the test with a record of 0-1. Chambersburg lost 3-0 in their recent league test against Cumberland Valley (Mechanicsburg, PA)
The Mountain Lions now sport a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Central Dauphin East for a Mid-Penn test on Wednesday, March 19. Altoona will face a Panthers squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Millersburg (Millersburg, PA). The Panthers record now stands at 1-0.
