March 18, 2025: Knoxville, TN 37920 The South-Doyle Cherokees (Knoxville, TN) baseball trounced the visiting Lenoir City Panthers (Lenoir City, TN), 11-5 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.
The Cherokees now own a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Halls for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 19. South-Doyle will clash with a Red Devils team coming off a 12-6 non-league loss to Anderson County (Clinton, TN). The Red Devils record now stands at 2-1.
With the defeat, Lenoir City drops to 0-2 on the year. The Panthers travel to Hardin Valley Academy (Knoxville, TN) to clash with the Hawks in a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 20. The Hawks go into the challenge with a record of 2-0. Hardin Valley Academy won 16-10 in their recent non-league challenge against Anderson County (Clinton, TN)
