In Tuesday's league test, the Brewer Bears (Fort Worth, TX) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Granbury Pirates (Granbury, TX), by a tally of 18-8.

Next, the Bears clash with the Azle Hornets (Azle, TX) in a 5A Region I District 5 test, on Friday, March 21. Brewer will attempt to advance on its 11-10 season record. The Hornets go into the test with a 4-7 record after their 12-11 league loss to Granbury (Granbury, TX).

The Pirates (4-9) will now prepare for their test against Aledo (Aledo, TX). The Bearcats go into the 5A Region I District 5 test with a 15-3 record. In their last test, Aledo prevailed over Saginaw (Saginaw, TX), 19-0, in a league test.
