In Tuesday's league test, the Leesville Wampus Cats (Leesville, LA) softball squad got by the host Washington-Marion Charging Indians (Lake Charles, LA), by a tally of 19-18.

Next, the Wampus Cats meet the Eunice Bobcats (Eunice, LA) in a 4A District 3 test, on Thursday, March 20. Leesville will attempt to advance on its 7-6 season record. The Bobcats go into the test with a 6-5 record after their 12-1 non-league loss to Iowa (Iowa, LA).

The Charging Indians (1-6) will now prepare for their test against DeRidder (DeRidder, LA). The Dragons go into the 4A District 3 test with a 7-11 record. In their last test, DeRidder held off LaGrange (Lake Charles, LA), 18-3, in a league test.
