The Vela Sabercats baseball team scored 3 runs and held the visiting Rowe Warriors to 2 in the Sabercats league win on Wednesday.

The Sabercats now hold a 7-13 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest for a 5A Region IV District 31 outing on Tuesday, March 24. Vela will battle a Javelinas squad coming off a 26-0 league loss to Rowe (McAllen, TX). The Javelinas record now stands at 1-10.

The Warriors (13-8) will now prepare for their outing against Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Memorial (Alamo, TX). The Wolverines come into the 5A Region IV District 31 outing with a 11-11 record.
