North Carolina High School Softball - East Davidson bounces Trinity

March 18, 2026: Trinity, NC 27370

The crowd at Wednesday's league bout between the East Davidson Golden Eagles (Thomasville, NC) and the host Trinity Bulldogs (Trinity, NC), observed East Davidson's softball team prevail over Trinity by a tally of 18-4.

The Golden Eagles (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Wheatmore (Trinity, NC). The Warriors enter the Central Carolina 3A contest with a 6-2 record. In their last contest, Wheatmore topped Southwest Guilford (High Point, NC), 8-2, in a non-league contest.

The Bulldogs now hold a 1-3 record. They play next when they host Eastern Randolph for a non-league contest on Thursday, March 19. Trinity will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 12-0 league loss to Southwestern Randolph (Asheboro, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-7.
