The Owen Warhorses softball squad (Black Mountain, NC), was routed 19-5 in Wednesday's non-league contest with the visiting Enka Jets (Enka, NC)

With the triumph, Enka improves its record to 3-1 on the year. The Jets host Franklin (Franklin, NC) to face the Panthers in a non-league contest on Thursday, March 19. The Panthers go into the match with a record of 4-2. Franklin won 16-1 in their recent league match against East Henderson (East Flat Rock, NC)

In their next game, the Warhorses battle the Avery County Vikings (Newland, NC) in a Western Highlands 2A/3A match, on Friday, March 20. Owen will attempt to better on its 5-2 season record. The Vikings go into the match with a 0-6 record after their 8-0 league loss to Madison (Marshall, NC).
