The Mountain Pointe Pride softball team (Phoenix, AZ), was routed 11-0 in Friday's league test with the visiting Highland Hawks (Gilbert, AZ)

Coming up next, the Hawks encounter the Corona del Sol Aztecs (Tempe, AZ) in a 6A Central test, on Tuesday, March 23. Highland will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record.

The Pride (1-1) will now prepare for their test against Desert Vista (Phoenix, AZ). The Thunder enter the 6A Central test with a 2-1 record. In their last test, Desert Vista prevailed over Queen Creek (Queen Creek, AZ), 6-1, in a league test.
