March 19, 2022: Delhi, LA 71232 In Saturday's non-league contest, the Delhi Charter Gators (Delhi, LA) softball team overwhelmed the visiting River Oaks Mustangs (Monroe, LA), by a margin of 19-1.
With the triumph, Delhi Charter moves its record to 3-3 on the year. The Gators host Rayville (Rayville, LA) to play the Hornets in a 2A District 2 contest on Thursday, March 24. The Hornets come into the contest with a record of 0-1.
In their next game, the Mustangs play the Claiborne Christian Crusaders (West Monroe, LA) in a non-league contest, on Monday, March 21. River Oaks will attempt to move on its 1-5 season record. The Crusaders come into the contest with a 1-1 record after their 11-1 non-league loss to Ouachita Parish (Monroe, LA).
