Virginia High School Softball - Halifax Academy bounces Norfolk Christian
March 19, 2022: Norfolk, VA 23505 Halifax Academy Vikings (Roanoke Rapids, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Norfolk Christian Ambassadors (Norfolk, VA), 12-2 in a non-league challenge.
The Vikings now sport a 8-3 record. They take the field next when they host Faith Christian for a NCISAA Carolina Independent 2A/1A challenge on Tuesday, March 22. Halifax Academy will face a Patriots squad coming off a 11-5 non-league win over Thales Academy Rolesville (Rolesville, NC). The Patriots record now stands at 2-2.
With the loss, Norfolk Christian falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Ambassadors host Booker T. Washington (Norfolk, VA) to face the Mighty Bookers in a non-league challenge on Monday, March 21. The Mighty Bookers enter the challenge with a record of 0-1.
