Luverne Tigers (Luverne, AL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Red Level Tigers (Red Level, AL), 7-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Tigers now own a 9-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Brantley for a non-league challenge on Monday, March 21. Luverne will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 11-4 non-league win over Wicksburg (Newton, AL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 9-3.
