South Carolina High School Soccer - South Florence nudges North Myrtle Beach
March 19, 2024: Florence, SC 29505 South Florence Bruins (Florence, SC) fans were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting North Myrtle Beach Chiefs (Little River, SC), 2-1 in a league challenge.
Next, the Bruins confront the Airport Eagles (West Columbia, SC) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, March 20. South Florence will attempt to better on its 4-4 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 1-8 record after their 4-1 non-league loss to Westwood (Blythewood, SC).
The Chiefs now have a 3-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Myrtle Beach for a AAAA Region 6 challenge on Friday, March 22. North Myrtle Beach will confront a Seahawks team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Socastee (Myrtle Beach, SC). The Seahawks record now stands at 8-4.
