Kentucky High School Softball - Knott County Central bounces Cordia
March 19, 2024: Hindman, KY 41822 Knott County Central Patriots (Hindman, KY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Cordia Lions (Hazard, KY), 17-0 in a league challenge.
The Patriots now own a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they host Wolfe County for a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 21. Knott County Central will battle a Wolves squad coming off a 15-1 non-league win over Paintsville (Paintsville, KY). The Wolves record now stands at 2-3.
With the loss, Cordia falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Jenkins (Jenkins, KY) to battle the Cavaliers in a District 53 challenge on Wednesday, March 20. The Cavaliers enter the challenge with a record of 0-1. Jenkins lost 14-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Letcher County Central (Whitesburg, KY)
