Texas High School Softball - Malakoff bounces Kemp
March 19, 2024: Malakoff, TX 75148 Malakoff Tigers (Malakoff, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Kemp Yellowjackets (Kemp, TX), 15-0 in a league challenge.
The Tigers now sport a 13-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Rice for a 3A Region III District 18 challenge on Friday, March 22. Malakoff will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 11-1 league loss to Blooming Grove (Blooming Grove, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-5.
With the loss, Kemp falls to 4-8 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets host Eustace (Eustace, TX) to face the Bulldogs in a 3A Region III District 18 challenge on Friday, March 22. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 6-14. Eustace won 5-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Wills Point (Wills Point, TX)
