The Bagdad Sultans baseball team scored 13 runs and held the visiting Valley Lutheran Flames to 0 in the Sultans league win on Wednesday.

The Sultans now own a 7-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Superior for a non-league test on Friday, March 21. Bagdad will clash with a Panthers team coming off a 11-1 non-league win over Miami (Miami, AZ). The Panthers record now stands at 5-2.

With the defeat, Valley Lutheran drops to 0-2 on the year. The Flames host Salome (Salome, AZ) to clash with the Frogs in a 1A West test on Friday, March 21. The Frogs go into the test with a record of 0-3. Salome lost 18-9 in their recent league test against Antelope (Wellton, AZ)
