The crowd at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Parkland Mustangs (Winston-Salem, NC) and the host Lexington Yellowjackets (Lexington, NC), saw Parkland's baseball team gain a win over Lexington by a tally of 15-4.

The Mustangs (1-9) will now prepare for their battle against Davie (Mocksville, NC). The War Eagles enter the Central Piedmont 4A battle with a 3-6 record. In their last battle, Davie was overwhelmed by South Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC), 6-3, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Yellowjackets face the South Davidson Wildcats (Denton, NC) in a Central Carolina 1A/2A battle, on Friday, March 21. Lexington will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record. The Wildcats enter the battle with a 3-5 record after their 11-6 league win over Lexington (Lexington, NC).
