Louisiana High School Softball - Abramson drops to Varnado
March 19, 2025: Angie, LA 70426 Varnado Wildcats (Angie, LA) supporters left the game thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad topple the visiting Abramson Commodores (New Orleans, LA), 18-1 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Varnado improves its record to 2-2 on the year. The Wildcats host Crescent City Christian (Metairie, LA) to face the Pioneers in a 1A District 10 game on Monday, March 24. The Pioneers enter the game with a record of 0-7. Crescent City Christian lost 20-5 in their recent non-league game against East Jefferson (Metairie, LA)
The Commodores now hold a 0-2 record. They play next when they host McDonogh 35 for a 4A District 11 game on Thursday, March 20. Abramson will face a Roneagles squad coming off a 21-0 non-league loss to Salmen (Slidell, LA). The Roneagles record now stands at 0-5.
