Virginia High School Softball - Carroll County bounces Bassett
March 19, 2025: Bassett, VA 24055 The Carroll County Cavaliers softball team scored 24 runs and held the host Bassett Bengals to 9 in the Cavaliers non-league win on Wednesday.
The Cavaliers (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Pulaski County (Dublin, VA). The Cougars come into the non-league match with a 1-1 record. In their last match, Pulaski County notched a victory over Fort Chiswell (Max Meadows, VA), 21-3, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Bengals battle the Patrick County Cougars (Stuart, VA) in a non-league match, on Monday, March 24. Bassett will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record. The Cougars come into the match with a 2-0 record after their 12-5 non-league win over Atlantic Collegiate Academy (Conway, SC).
