In Thursday's league match, the host Alcoa Tornadoes softball team scored a nice 12-0 victory over the Loudon Redskins.

The Tornadoes (1-1) will now prepare for their match against Sequoyah (Madisonville, TN). The Chiefs go into the 3A District 5 match with a 2-4 record. In their last match, Sequoyah was routed by Lenoir City (Lenoir City, TN), 12-0, in a non-league match.
