The North Putnam Cougars ran past the visiting Cascade Cadets basketball team by a final score of 71-57 in Wednesday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Cougars face the Southmont Mounties (Crawfordsville, IN) in a non-league game, on Friday, March 4. North Putnam will attempt to move on its 19-4 season record. The Mounties enter the game with a 17-6 record after their 67-23 non-league win over Riverton Parke (Montezuma, IN).

With the defeat, Cascade moves to 8-15 on the year.
