Perquimans Pirates (Hertford, NC) fans were pleased Wednesday as they observed their soccer team prevail over the host Albemarle School Colts (Elizabeth City, NC), 5-1 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Pirates confront the Holmes Aces (Edenton, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, March 4. Perquimans will attempt to better on its 1-0 season record. The Aces enter the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 9-0 non-league win over Bear Grass Charter (Williamston, NC).

The Colts now have a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Northeastern for a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 3. Albemarle School will confront a Eagles team coming off a 9-0 non-league loss to Catholic (Virginia Beach, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 0-1.
