The crowd at Wednesday's non-league match between the Desert Vista Thunder (Phoenix, AZ) and the visiting Mountain Ridge Mountain Lions (Glendale, AZ), observed Desert Vista's softball team topple Mountain Ridge by a margin of 9-0.

With the triumph, Desert Vista moves its record to 7-1 on the year. The Thunder travel to Mountain View (Mesa, AZ) to play the Toros in a non-league contest on Friday, March 4. The Toros come into the contest with a record of 8-2. Mountain View lost 12-2 in their recent non-league contest against Corona del Sol (Tempe, AZ)

In their next game, the Mountain Lions play the Corona del Sol Aztecs (Tempe, AZ) in a non-league contest, on Friday, March 4. Mountain Ridge will attempt to move on its 0-3 season record. The Aztecs enter the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 12-2 non-league win over Mountain View (Mesa, AZ).
