The Desert Vista Thunder softball team scored 12 runs and limited the visiting Corona del Sol Aztecs to 1 in the Thunder league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Desert Vista moves its record to 17-5 on the year. The Thunder travel to Chandler (Chandler, AZ) to clash with the Wolves in a non-league game on Friday, April 1. The Wolves come into the game with a record of 10-9. Chandler lost 6-5 in their recent non-league game against Casteel (Queen Creek, AZ)

In their next game, the Aztecs clash with the Mountain Pointe Pride (Phoenix, AZ) in a 6A Central game, on Monday, April 4. Corona del Sol will attempt to move on its 9-9 season record. The Pride come into the game with a 3-11 record after their 21-2 league loss to Queen Creek (Queen Creek, AZ).
