March 2, 2024: Whittier, CA 90601 The Whittier Cardinals volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Norwalk Lancers to 0 in the Cardinals non-league victory on Saturday.
The Cardinals now have a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pioneer for a non-league game on Monday, March 4. Whittier will confront a Titans team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to La Mirada (La Mirada, CA). The Titans record now stands at 1-3.
The Lancers (3-6) will now prepare for their game against Compton Early College (Compton, CA). The Rising Phoenix enter the non-league game with a 1-3 record. In their last game, Compton Early College dropped by Pacific Lutheran (Gardena, CA), 3-1, in a league game.
