Wallace County Wildcats (Sharon Springs, KS) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Dighton Hornets (Dighton, KS), 62-48 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Wallace County upgrades its record to 20-3 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to St. John's/Tipton Catholic (Beloit, KS) to play the Blujays in a non-league bout on Thursday, March 7. The Blujays come into the bout with a record of 13-3. St. John's/Tipton Catholic won 69-47 in their recent non-league bout against Pawnee Heights (Rozel, KS)
