March 2, 2024: West Monroe, LA 71292 Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the West Ouachita Chiefs (West Monroe, LA) and the visiting Walker Wildcats (Walker, LA), witnessed West Ouachita's softball squad tip Walker by a count of 3-0.
The Chiefs now sport a 5-6 record. They play next when they travel to Ouachita Parish for a 5A District 2 match on Tuesday, March 5.
With the loss, Walker moves to 5-6 on the season. The Wildcats host Dutchtown (Geismar, LA) to face the Griffins in a 5A District 5 match on Tuesday, March 5. The Griffins go into the match with a record of 8-2. Dutchtown won 10-4 in their recent non-league match against Hahnville (Boutte, LA)
