Louisiana High School Softball - Walker nudges Live Oak
March 12, 2024: Watson, LA 70706 Walker Wildcats (Walker, LA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Live Oak Eagles (Watson, LA), 7-6 in a league challenge.
The Wildcats now own a 8-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Amant for a 5A District 5 challenge on Thursday, March 14. Walker will battle a Gators squad coming off a 7-6 league loss to Dutchtown (Geismar, LA). The Gators record now stands at 12-6.
With the loss, Live Oak falls to 8-8 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to East Ascension (Gonzales, LA) to battle the Spartans in a 5A District 5 challenge on Thursday, March 14. The Spartans enter the challenge with a record of 11-6. East Ascension won 19-8 in their recent league challenge against Denham Springs (Denham Springs, LA)
