The Spruce Timberwolves triumphed over the visiting Roosevelt Mustangs baseball squad by a score of 14-5 in Monday's non-league outing.

Next up, the Timberwolves battle the DeSoto Eagles (DeSoto, TX) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, March 5. Spruce will attempt to better on its 5-3 season record. The Eagles go into the test with a 6-2 record after their 5-1 non-league win over South Oak Cliff (Dallas, TX).

With the defeat, Roosevelt drops to 2-1 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Kimball (Dallas, TX) to clash with the Knights in a 4A Region II District 11 test on Tuesday, March 10.
